TO MAHUNYAL MULTIPLE CAMPUS, BHAJANI
Mahunyal
Multiple Campus was established in 2064 B.S., situated in Bhajani Municipality
ward no 1 kailali district seti zone of Sudurpaschim province. It is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU)
and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) of Nepal. The campus was
opened by the great interest of public community to overcome the problem of
higher education in local level. It is the only higher education institution in
this local level which cover 9 wards of this municipality to impart quality
education to the students from different spheres. It believes incompetence and
applies new teaching methodology and strategies to achieve better performance required
for the nations. As a single campus, Mahunyal Campus offers courses in academic
disciplines of education and humanities and social sciences at bachelor levels
and conducts research and project work in learning activity. The campus aims at
imparting quality education to provide its students with academic environment
that ensures opportunities for both intellectual development and professional
knowledge and skills. It is a community based public campus established by the
collaborative effort of the intellectuals, professionals, academicians,
businessmen, politicians, social workers, guardians, teachers, students and the
local people. The core aim of the campus is to produce the energetic, capable
and competitive manpower having the traits of knowledge with civilization,
responsibility and morality through the access of quality education at
reasonable and affordable fee structure.
Mahunyal Multiple Campus is located at the
center of Bhajani city with peaceful and educational environment and it lies in
the equal distance of 24 Km south from Mahendra Highway (Sukhad&Bauniyan)
and south from Nepal India-Gulariya border. The main catchment area of MMC
areKailiali, Doti, Bajura, Bajhang and Accham districts.
With many ups and downs in its course of
growth, the college received 17 Bighas of land from HMG in 2075, and in 2078
the college shifted to its own building which was inaugurated by Late Ling
Birendra on 6th Marg, 2078 B.S. The college then was capable enough to begin
Bachelor level which was materialized in 2076. The college is expanding
physically and academically day by day. The Journey of this campus that began
in 2022 BS has become a model journey of an academic institution of its kind.
In its long course up to now, it has been able to enlighten many individuals of
different corners of the nation and thus illuminate the whole society with
knowledge, skills, and inspiration. We hope, in the days to come, this college
will not lag behind to academically lead society imparting quality education to
meet the demands of the 21st century. We express our sincere gratitude to those
who directly or indirectly contributed to the birth, growth and development of
this campus and brought into the present strength and shape.
